Representatives from the Texas State Teacher’s Association student group, Deer Park and Pasadena Independent School Districts, and Gulf Coast Community Services’ Head Start Human Resources teams were also on hand to engage with students and discuss future opportunities.

The San Jacinto College Robotics Department and Children’s Center provided a variety of engaging activities for the children of potential students. These activities included sand art crafts, magnetic building blocks, story time, coloring areas, melted crayon art, and crafting nature crowns. Each activity was thoughtfully designed around the early childhood theme, offering future educators practical ideas to use in their classrooms.
